Jarryl “JAY” B. Ritchie

Jay Ritchie currently serves as the Gulf Coast Liaison for the $500 million research initiative sponsored by BP. As the Communications Coordinator for the Gulf of Mexico Research Initiative’s Administrative Unit his team is responsible for collecting and disseminating all research activities and results to the science community, decision-makers, and political stakeholders. Mr. Ritchie also serves as the Social Sciences Coordinator for the Northern Gulf Institute managing and directing their affiliated research efforts at institutions of higher learning spanning Florida to Texas. He has been directing research at Mississippi State University since 1995.

 

 

Magda will be focusing her research efforts on psychological factors associated with branding.

 

Magda du Preez

Magda du Preez, is a part-time PhD student in Business at the Witwatersrand Business School, Johannesburg, South Africa. She is a psychologist and management consultant specializing in leadership and team selection and development, transition management and performance culture building. She has provided consultation to Fortune 500 companies, start–ups, and not for profit organizations in the United States, Africa, Asia and Europe. She is also an adjunct Professor of Management, teaching courses on strategy implementation and organizational development at LIU. She is an affiliate of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology and The American Psychological Association and she is the past president and currently serves on the advisory board of the South Africa Chamber of Commerce in America.
