Why women should use erotic capital to get ahead

For a woman to use her sexuality and get ahead in the workplace is referred to as “erotic capital.” In her book, Erotic Capital: The Power of Attraction in the Boardroom and the Bedroom, Dr. Catherine Hakim, a Senior Research Fellow in the Centre for Policy Studies in London, addresses such questions as: If men use every tool in their arsenal to get ahead in their career, why should women be any different? Just because a woman may “dress to impress” doesn’t mean she isn’t smart, talented, and just as deserving as any male in the same office. Where can we draw the line between morality and equality?
